Dear Female Hustler, Mompreneur, Fempreneur, Glambitious Woman:
You have to participate in the manifestation of your own dreams.
Don’t hate her because she’s successful.
You know you’ve been there. Let’s be honest with each other. I’ve been there many times. Jealousy is an ugly emotion.
We spend so much time in our lives on social media, especially comparing ourselves to other people, what they have and what they’ve done. No matter how proud we are of our own success it is hard seeing others have what you want.
You can approach jealousy in two ways: inspiration and validation that the level of success you want is achievable OR the kind where you diminish her accomplishments by throwing negativity her way in order to make yourself feel better.
Remember, if she can have it, SO CAN YOU!
When we allow jealousy to paralyze our success because we are counting someone else’s blessings instead of our own, you are only going to make yourself feel worse and bring yourself down to a whole other level – one that does nothing to help you create your ideal life. In fact, it could totally block any abundance you are meant to receive.
When you catch yourself sizing up other women at a party, immediately flip the switch and send the girl some love instead of judging her for what she is wearing, how she is talking, or gossip about who she’s dated in the past.
The trick is to re-frame you’re thinking and tell yourself if she can have it, you can too. You are responsible for bringing your own blessings into your life.
No one has everything figured out. I’m pretty sure that if you are feeling envious of another woman, there is another woman who is envious of you.
Let’s appreciate the women out there who do amazing things! When you do this, you are shifting your energy to a place of joy and bliss, which sends good energy into this world!
It’s OK to tell our fellow soul sister standing in line at Target that her hair looks awesome. She probably spent a pretty penny on those highlights and perfect layers. Let’s celebrate her beauty and make her day! Giving compliments to someone costs you nothing and when you do it, you feel good about it. I’ve never felt horrible after giving someone a compliment, have you?
The next time you experience that feeling of envy, try to understand the causes. Take the approach of an observer and take the emotion out of it.
Ask yourself:
What am I feeling right now?
What is it that she has that I want?
Is there proof that I can’t have what she has?
Then state 5 things that you are grateful for in your life.
This will help your mind focus on the GOOD and less on what is lacking.
There will always be things in life that make us feel jealous from time to time, and being grateful won’t always be the ultimate solution. But when you start to notice things that make you feel grateful, you’ll be able to bring some of your own abundance back into your life.
If you are an entrepreneur and this resonated with you, and you are looking to connect deeper and live bigger, I’d love the opportunity to chat. Together we can overcome obstacles and open up opportunities so that you can start living the life you’ve always imagined. You can find me here. Talk to you soon!
